Truefitt’s first citrus fragrances were originally formulated in the 1870s and quickly became favorites of Queen Victoria as well as the gentleman and ladies of her Court. The Imperial Bouquet was specifically blended for Queen Victoria by Truefitt’s perfumers in 1876 to celebrate her being crowned Empress of India. It was a floral fougere with zesty and exotic top notes of citrus and orange blossom from which the present day West Indian Limes fragrance evolved. A refreshing, effervescent and zesty fragrance, in which lively top notes of exotic lime and bergamot are combined with a heart of lilac, lavender and rose, and an orange blossom base.

Presented in a beautifully etched traditional bottle.

The best scent of all!!! I only wish it lasted longer but still it is so unique and fantastic. It’s been my favourite for many years.

Horrible Longevity

I was so excited for this cologne. Everything about it seemed like everything I would love. And even when spraying it on me I was loving the scent. Very strong lime at the beginning but then dying down to a nice masculine scent. The problem? Can’t smell it at all after about an hour. I even gave them the benefit of the doubt and tried all the tips they mentioned in the other review. The truth is it just doesn’t have any staying power. I still love the scent though so I have to give them credit for that. On another note, I also own Mayfair and Graffton and those both last around 6 hours for me.

My go-to summer scent

I’ve been wearing this for years. I use the full product line: shaving cream, aftershave balm and cologne. I live in a warm climate, so this works great for much of the year. You feel as fresh and crisp as a tropical breeze.

Too niche

Looking for a subtle scent? You've come to the wrong place. In my sample pack this was my least favorite. It's not bad by any means, but it is quite specific and strong and will appeal to a smaller audience than most, I think. If ever there was a fragrance that you should try before you buy, this is it.

The WI Limes scent is a very fresh, light, citrusy scent which is exceptionally popular in the summer or warmer climates. It does dissipate after application.
Cologne's are such a personal choice and we always suggest the samples to try first.

Long Lasting??

Love the citrus scent but the scent does not last as long as expected. I’m averaging 1-2 hours before it disappears. I’ve been wearing it for the last three days and find myself having to spray a lot more on in hopes that it will last longer. I spray the back of my neck, chest, and inside elbows. For most colognes this would be overkill but for this one, it’s gone before you know it. I was really expecting something better as this was my first time purchasing.

Although we have not had this feedback and we apprecaite you have tried in various areas here are a few tips you may find helpful.
Apply right after taking a shower when your pores are open allowing cologne to absorb into your skin.
Do not keep in your washroom. It is important to keep your cologne in a cool, dark, and dry area as heat, humidity and light can speed up the breakdown of a scent.
Make sure you moisturize your skin; cologne does not mesh well with dry skin and will evaporate.
Do not spray on your clothes it will dissipate quickly.
Do not overspray you will have a stronger scent then you should start which will dissipate the same end result with one or two spritzes.
Spray your wrists where you have warmth due to the closeness of your veins and arteries to the skins surface but do not rub your wrists together as the scent will breakdown faster.
